I think one pair of shoes is good. 2 max.
not all outfits match all shoes. not all shoes match all outfits. You can't wear business casual and sneaks, it doesn't work that way. and you can't where clogs with somethings. Hence the need for many types of shoes. Also, green doesn't match every color of shoe - so you need multi-colors.
